For centuries, calligraphy has been a symbol of the culture and art of the refined people of Iran. Iranian poets have drawn out the meaning of words, while its calligraphers have extracted visual concepts from letters and words, transforming a mere script into a form of art

I am the heir to a glorious history, and in my own capacity, while honoring the intrinsic values of traditional calligraphy, I move alongside contemporary global art. I extract new visual elements from its remarkable geometry and invite you to join me on this fascinating journey of discovery and exploration

Calligraphy is the dance of the brush on paper, a dance that comes from the heart and reaches the soul

Calligraphy Is a Symbol of Authentic Iranian Art and a Sign of the wisdom and understanding of a people whose beauty and philosophy have been present in all moments of their lives and have decorated their environment with unique artistic effects.

The poets of Iran, who are the leaders of the world, in a
way and the calligraphers of this land have somehow extracted art and meaning
from the words of the Persian language.

Yes, Iranian calligraphy, with its historical and amazing
effects, became a guide for me to see words not only from the perspective of
poetry and literature, but also to think about making

a newer world through its original form to take the audience
along with me in this fascinating revelation.

Some of my works that are exhibited in world exhibitions and some of my travels to know the art of the world and also to introduce my own art.

The painting exhibition Eiken Sonata by Shamseddin Moradi

was held in Amersfoort Netherlands, from January 21 to March 10, 2024. The exhibition opened with a live performance, during which Moradi created an eight-square-meter artwork in just 15 minutes, accompanied by renowned Dutch pianist Keith Willem. This opening performance, held at Bergkerk Church on January 21, was met with an exceptional response from enthusiastic Dutch and Iranian attendees

The exhibition featured 20 of Moradi’s paintings, inspired by traditional Persian calligraphy but reinterpreted with a fresh approach. The letters and words in these works were presented in a new and metaphorical style, combined with a modern structure and the artist’s unique personal expression

Moradi drew inspiration from the tree, symbolizing growth, generosity, kindness, and life, as a central theme in creating these pieces
